Student Created Game Review -
Standards 3c, This movie trailer style video showed several games the students created during social studies. By posting this video on YouTube, parents are able to see some of the educational projects we do in class, and students are eager to go home and share them. * This was created using iMovie (ipad version) Student Speech
Standards 1c, 2d, 3a, 3c, 4b, This short video is a speech given by one of my 4th grade students, who also happens to be my son. Each student recorded their speech, which they could then view and reflect on. These speeches were also uploaded to YouTube, where I sent links to parents so they could also see how their child was doing. * This video was made using an ipad camera. Classroom YouTube Channel Standards 1d, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4c, 5a My classroom YouTube channel is a place where students, parents, and other teachers can find examples of how we are using technology in the classroom. Most videos are not public, but parents are provided with a link to see their child's individual work. *YouTube provides a channel as part of membership. Classroom Website Standards 3a, 3b, 3c, The website for my class contains both static information, such as schedules and links, as well as updated information, including pictures, videos, class calendar, and links to relevant topics we are learning about in class. |
